Biography
Dr. Mark Newman is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing in Newport Beach, California. He specializes in reconstructive and joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Dr. Newman has fellowship training in adult reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee. He has multiple publications and presentations on total joint replacement and has been involved in the development of new orthopedic devices and instruments throughout his career. He was the lead researcher for an FDA-approved study for new cutting-edge technology in hip replacement and was the first surgeon to perform minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery in Newport Beach. He continues to be involved in the development of new orthopedic implants and surgical techniques. Dr. Newman has a special interest in complex reconstructive surgery and the treatment of orthopedic infections.
