Biography

Dr. Michael Bahk is a double fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon serving the communities of Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, and Van Nuys, California. He trained at Johns Hopkins for orthopedic surgery and subsequently completed a sports medicine fellowship as well as a reconstructive shoulder and elbow fellowship. He specializes in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery and has taken care of Division I collegiate and professional athletes. Dr. Bahk has worked with world-renown shoulder and elbow surgeons and is a recipient of a $45,000 Orthopedic Research and Education Fund (OREF) grant to understand the venous thromboembolic disease and upper extremity arthroplasty. He is excited about this research and hopes it will lead to better patient care.
