David B. Cohen M.D. is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who is fellowship trained in shoulder, knee, elbow and ankle surgery, arthroscopy, and the management of sports related injuries. The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine has recognized Dr. Cohen with the Excellence in Research Award for his work on rotator cuff injuries (awarded for the year's best Sports Medicine paper.) His research is widely published and has been presented at national and international meetings. His findings have influenced the way rotator cuff injuries are managed today.
