Amir A. Jamali. MD

Dr. Amir Jamali is the founder of Joint Preservation Institute. He has dedicated his career to caring for patients of all ages with joint issues ranging from cartilage lesions to advanced arthritis. He has served on the orthopedic faculty at Stanford and UC Davis. At UC Davis, he introduced several new techniques including partial femoral head replacement, surgical hip dislocation, osteochondral transplantation of the femoral head, hip arthroscopy, among others. He has pioneered new techniques in the biological treatment of joints including techniques for all biological hip and knee replacement.
