Dr. Austin Crow, a native of the Twin Cities, first came to the Chippewa Valley in 1999 when he attended UW-Eau Claire. His medical studies and orthopedic training took him across the country but he was excited to return home to the Midwest. He is committed to providing personalized and effective care for orthopedic patients throughout the Chippewa Valley, with a focus on athletes of all levels and their return to play. He is trained in advanced surgical techniques and nonoperative treatment of knees, shoulders, ankles, hips and overall athletic care.

Dr. Crow’s specialties include:

  • Arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery
  • ACL and revision ACL reconstruction
  • Knee dislocations and multi-ligament knee injuries
  • Articular cartilage restoration and transplantation
  • Patellar (knee cap) dislocations/instability

  • Shoulder replacement, including reverse total shoulder arthroplasty
  • Knee replacement

While away from work, Dr. Crow enjoys many outdoor activities with his wife, Jessie, and children, Kellen and Ellie. He also loves watching football, baseball, basketball, wrestling and hockey. He is an active member in the community and volunteers as a coach with his children’s athletic teams. He has published multiple articles and chapters on knee and shoulder reconstruction throughout his training.
