Biography
Dr. Thomas H. Wuerz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic and a sports medicine fellowship at Rush University in Chicago. He was then awarded the traveling fellowship of the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy training at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, and the Schulthess Klinik in Zurich, Switzerland, focusing on hip arthroscopy and hip preservation surgery. Dr. Wuerz offers treatment for a variety of hip, knee, and shoulder conditions as well as sports injuries. He uses advanced and innovative procedures including the postless distraction system, biologics, and minimally invasive surgery to maximize patient outcomes.
