Michael J. Salata, MD

Dr. Michael J. Salata is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist practicing in Ohio with a clinical focus on cartilage restoration, meniscus surgery, and the arthroscopic treatment of orthopedic pathology affecting the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow. He is Director of the Joint Preservation and Cartilage Restoration Center at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Dr. Salata completed his sports medicine fellowship training at the world-renowned Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and has served as assistant team physician for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Steel, and Chicago Public High Schools, gaining experience treating athletes at all levels of competition.
